Some of the most terrifying verses in the Bible…and any nation or person could be judged by these: Jeremiah 7: 26-28
“Yet they did not listen to Me or incline their ear, but stiffened their neck; they did more evil than their fathers.
“You shall speak all these words to them, but they will not listen to you; and you shall call to them, but they will not answer you. You shall say to them, ‘This is the nation that did not obey the voice of the Lord their God or accept correction; truth has perished and has been cut off from their mouth.'”

5 Things Every Worship Leader Should Learn From Jimmy Fallon
Following God: The Grand Adventure
By Josh Maze ~
No matter the guest, they’re the “absolute best” on the “absolute best” TV show or film. Isn’t it amazing that every. single. night… Jimmy’s “favorite” person is on the show… and we believe him? I believe him. I follow him. All the way to the desk where he is absolutely enthralled by the special guest. Completely engaged.
As a matter of fact, he’s so engaged – I’m engaged. I’m engaged through him. All the sudden I find myself interested in the guest / the subject / the conversation. Through Jimmy’s excitement & passion, I find myself involved. I never knew that I could become such a fan of some random C-list celebrity… but seeing Jimmy as such a fanatic about this person, here I am. Participating.
Here are 5 things every worship leader should learn from Jimmy Fallon.
1. He’s always smiling.

What IF?
In Exodus 3, The Lord has overviewed for Moses how He plans to free the Israelites from their Egyptian bondage. This presentation was made through the medium of a burning bush…pretty good audio/visual!!
In chapter 4, Moses begins his response with “What IF, and…..” followed by several possible negative outcomes. The Lord responds, clarifies, explains, and instructs thoroughly.
Moses’ questions are difficult for him to get resolved…even while chatting with a flaming shrub!! “What IF?” can be a paralyzing question, when followed by negative possibilities.
A more challenging, motivating use can be “What IF I DON’T do this? What IF I don’t step up, step out?”
A Little Improv Can Go a Long Way with Dementia
Most days, dad sleeps a lot. But today, he’s wide awake. He’s on the phone, yelling at me. He’s so angry, but there’s sadness in his voice, too. “I don’t have any money, I don’t have a car. I don’t even have any shoes,” he tells me. “And I’ve got to go down and see mom and dad.”
Now, my dad is 92 and his parents have been gone for decades. He has money in bank accounts that he doesn’t remember how to access, and he has a car he’s no longer able to drive. These days, his shoes mostly stay in the closet. He wears his slippers when he has the energy to walk down to the dining room to eat with his friends Leo and John, or when he gets the urge to bust out of the skilled nursing wing where he lives. He heads…
